What is Kansas Drag Idol?

​

It's a six-month rollercoaster of talent, creativity, and fierce competition. Each month features a themed episode that you won't want to miss! Our stage is graced by four regular judges and special local judges who are the crème de la crème of the local drag scene, ready to help elevate our contestants to the top!

But wait, there's more! It's not just about the glitz and glam; it's about giving back. Each episode spotlights a charity during our Kansas Gives Back (or Your State Gives Back) segment, with all contestant tips supporting the local community. Because who says you can't look fabulous while making a difference?

Who Can Compete?

National Drag Idol is the epitome of inclusivity. Whether you're a seasoned queen, a cute clown, a scary monster, a strong king, something in between, or just dipping your toes into the fabulous world of drag, everyone is welcome to strut their stuff on our stage. Our first winner, Juicee The Jester, had only been performing drag for a few months and took home our Season 1 title!

Cash prizes, crowns, scepters, sashes—oh my! Competitors aren't just vying for glory; they're walking away with a treasure trove of goodies. Picture this: $100 for every episode won, a dazzling crown, scepter, sash, custom jewelry set, photo shoot, custom wig, custom prop, and six paid bookings. Need we say more? (Yes, we do. It's fabulous.)

We're dreaming drag-tastically big! Our vision? A three-day extravaganza bringing together drag royalty from every state to compete for the coveted title of National Drag Idol.
